How to Prioritize Your Work as a Founder With AI
To prioritize your work with AI, give it today's real constraints, which are your time, your deadlines and what is blocking customers, and ask for one next action that fits. Not a ranked list of twenty. One thing, who does it, how you will know it is finished, and what waits. The direction of the business stays yours. This is help choosing the next two hours.
The example is a made-up workshop owner.
Start with today's constraint
- Six places are booked.
- The confirmation email shows the wrong arrival time.
- There is an idea for a new social campaign.
- Two hours are free before the next confirmation goes out.
Give it deadlines, the time you have, your commitments and anything that is stopping a customer. Keep the thing that is urgent apart from the thing that is interesting.
The request
The request: "Compare fixing the confirmation email with starting the new campaign, using the facts below. Recommend one next action that fits in two hours, who owns it, how we will know it is done and what waits. Tell me any decision I have to make. Do not start either task."
What comes back
Fix the email first. It is about to send the wrong time to people who have already paid. One person makes the correction and checks it against the approved offer. The campaign stays in the queue. Done means a corrected template that has been checked. A plan to check it later is not done.
The mistakes to watch for
The interesting thing wins. A campaign is more fun than a typo. It is also a guess about future customers, weighed against a known problem for current ones. When something is about to mislead people who already bought, it goes first.
The list. Ask what to do and you get twelve sensible suggestions, all true, none chosen. You asked for a decision and got homework. Ask for one.
A recommendation that outlives its facts. If no more confirmations go out this week, the email can wait and the answer changes. Good. Note the new fact and the new answer. The first recommendation was right for what you knew.
Finish one before starting the next
After the fix, look at the result and decide what the remaining time allows. Don't let one finished job slide into a campaign, a new account and a spending decision nobody made.
Run it in your Staffmor office
Open the office on the computer running it with its Start Staffmor launcher. If you already have a paired web office, open it here. Paste this request and the source material into the conversation. Use your approved Codex connection, or ask your open Claude Code session to "Check Staffmor for work." A saved request is not a completed result. Review the answer or file when it comes back and reply with corrections. Give it your real deadlines; the recommendation is only as good as those.
Staffmor reasons from the constraints you give it. What the business does next is your decision. New to Staffmor? Set up your office with Codex or Claude Code and an empty folder. Use your own supported AI account and approve the download, office activation and local folder/network access during setup. Claude Code pickup is manual; keep that local session open.
