How to Build a Sales Objection Library With AI
To build a sales objection library with AI, give it the questions customers really ask and your approved offer, and ask for three things per question: a short answer, where that answer comes from, and when to pass the question to someone else. A good library lets anyone on your team give the same true answer. Where you have no approved answer, the entry says so.
The example is a made-up workshop that hears three questions again and again.
Use the real questions
- "Do I need tools?"
- "Will you fix every problem with my bike?"
- "Can I cancel at any time?"
The policy says tools are supplied and the class teaches a repair. The cancellation wording is still being decided. Give it the questions from real calls and messages, with names removed.
The request
The request: "Create an answer library for the three questions below. For each give a short response, the source it comes from and when to escalate. Use approved facts only. Leave the cancellation terms unresolved. Do not pressure the customer, promise a repair outcome or send any replies."
What comes back
- Tools: "Bring your bicycle; we supply the tools." Source: equipment policy.
- Fix everything? "The class teaches you to fix a flat. It isn't a full repair service." Source: workshop scope.
- Cancel any time? "Let me confirm our current cancellation terms and come back to you." Escalate to whoever owns the policy.
The mistake to watch for
The third answer is the one that matters. Nobody has decided the cancellation terms, and a library that wants to be complete will write "Yes, you can cancel any time." A salesperson will say it. A customer will rely on it. An undecided "maybe" has become your policy, by way of a sales script.
"Let me confirm and come back to you" is a perfectly good answer to give a customer. It beats a confident one you have to walk back.
Watch the tone as well. An objection is a question. An answer written to overcome the customer, with no interest in informing them, reads that way, and it wins the argument and loses the booking.
Keep it current
When a policy changes, change the answer, its source and its date together, and keep the old wording as history. Every so often, check a few answers against the live offer. An objection library goes stale quietly: the offer moves on and the script doesn't.
Run it in your Staffmor office
Open the office on the computer running it with its Start Staffmor launcher. If you already have a paired web office, open it here. Paste this request and the source material into the conversation. Use your approved Codex connection, or ask your open Claude Code session to "Check Staffmor for work." A saved request is not a completed result. Review the answer or file when it comes back and reply with corrections. Ask it to list every question it could not answer from the approved facts.
Staffmor writes the answers from what you approve. Setting policy and talking to customers stay with you. New to Staffmor? Set up your office with Codex or Claude Code and an empty folder. Use your own supported AI account and approve the download, office activation and local folder/network access during setup. Claude Code pickup is manual; keep that local session open.
